SUNY Cortland graduate Derek Maxfield received the Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Scholarship and Creative Activities as a faculty member of Genesee Community College.

SUNY Oswego actor-alumnus Carl Whidden plays Scrooge in “A Christmas Carol” as part of the ‘Artswego Series’ at the college.

Kelsey Moody, a SUNY Plattsburgh graduate who now attends Upstate Medical University, has received a $450,000 research grant to explore cell therapy.

The Lockport High School Foundation is set to recognize outstanding alumni, four of whom also call the University at Albany, University at Buffalo, SUNY Geneseo, and College at Brockport their alma mater.

SUNY Plattsburgh alumna Trisha Francis provided insight into a popular Press Republican story, “Doing up a dorm room right”, on how college students should make the most of their living space.
