Twenty-three SUNY campuses have been ranked among the top colleges and universities in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. Top spots include eleven campuses named “Top Public Regional Universities” in the North; nine in top 100 “Best Regional Universities” in the North; and recognition of SUNY students graduating with some of the least debt in the country.
The national rankings are an affirmation that SUNY’s local focus, statewide commitment, and global connections are creating tremendous value and positions the entire system of SUNY campuses to serve as a leader among the 2,500 four-year colleges in the United States.
“As we continue to work with Governor Cuomo to position SUNY and New York to lead in affordability, access, and quality, and President Obama puts these issues into focus nationally, we are proud to be recognized and ranked favorably by U.S. News & World Report,” said SUNY Chancellor Zimpher. “Congratulations to the many campuses representing SUNY on this list.”
