  1. Where are you from?
I am a true Long Islander, born and raised in Stony Brook, NY, but I'm well-known around the country!
  2. How many teams do you represent?
I represent 20 Varsity Sports that are members of the America East Conference and CAA (Football) along with the nationally recognized Spirit of Stony Brook Marching Band.
  3. How were you chosen to be school mascot?
I have been a part of the Stony Brook family since 1995--just a year after the Stony Brook varsity teams became known as the Seawolves. The fourth nickname in Stony Brook history, Seawolves was selected from a list of more than 200 possible names by a 32-person committee comprising students, alumni, faculty, and administrators.
  4. Do you have any friends that are mascots?
Of course! I am friends with all my fellow mascots in the America East Conference and I am looking forward to meeting new friends next year with our move to the CAA for football. I am also friendly with many of our fellow Long Island mascots in the professional leagues such as Quackerjack from the LI Ducks and Sparky the Dragon from the NY Islanders. In addition, during the summer of 2011 I was fortunate enough to be a part of the 2011 ESPN College Gameday commercial where I met many well-known, collegiate mascots!
  5. What is your favorite campus event?
My favorite campus event would have to be homecoming which is known as Wolfstock: Long Island's Biggest Backyard BBQ! Nothing is better than seeing all my Seawolves fans, alumni, and friends of the local community come together for a fun filled day at Stony Brook University!
  6. What is your favorite food?
I like to wolf down everything that's put in front of me!
  7. What is your favorite television or movie animal?
My favorite movie animal is the Big Bad Wolf.
  8. What do you like to do for fun?
Besides supporting my campus community and amping up the crowd at Seawolves games, I love to travel around the world! Check out my “Where in the World is Wolfie” travel map to see all the places I have been so far! Click here: http://bit.ly/bytDEp
  9. What’s it like to be a mascot?
It’s the best job in the world! I get to meet so many different people and represent one of the greatest Universities - Stony Brook!
  10. What do you consider the ideal fan?
I would have to say that the ideal fan is one who loves Stony Brook, gets their RED ON, goes to as many games as possible and roars with excitement every time we make a great play!
