SUNY Music Madness 2013

SUNY Music Madness - submissions due by November 13

Who’s your favorite SUNY musical artist?

We are excited to announce Generation SUNY’s first-ever music contest called Music Madness! After all, we all love music and what better opportunity to showcase the best talent SUNY has to offer than through an interactive competition!?

Here’s the rundown: this is a music competition (obviously) that will accept student submissions from all over New York State’s 64 SUNY campuses. For the record, that’s nearly a half-million students. There are biology, political science, psychology, and a thousand other concentrations that students may study during the day, but jump back to a core musical talent in the off-hours; let’s show off!

There is incredible opportunity for musical artists who want to compete. You can be a band, duet, chorus, or solo and, with original music, you can do anything you want to show your musical talent. And with SUNY’s collective social reach on the Web, the exposure you can potentially get is breathtaking.

Beginning November 18, we’ll run everybody’s submission through three rounds of voting open to the public. At the end of the third round (the Final Round, for those of you unfamiliar with contests), the winner is announced and crowned SUNY Music Madness 2013 Champion!

To submit your music, and for a full list of rules and voting guidelines, head over to the submission page!

Round 3: Final: Tuesday, December 10 12:00 p.m. – Wednesday, December 18 12:00 a.m.
