Multiple SUNY Campuses Ranked Top Colleges and Universities for 2015 by U.S. News & World Report

The 30th edition of the  U.S. News & World Report College Rankings is out, and SUNY is once again well-represented in multiple categories. Five SUNY Campuses have been named Top Public Schools, 17 SUNY Campuses have been honored as Top Universities and Colleges in the North Region and five ranked among the Top 130 campuses Nationwide by U.S. News & World Report.

The U.S. News ranking system methodology is based on two pillars covering different types of schools, including National Universities, Regional Universities and Regional Colleges. The formula uses quantitative measures that education experts have proposed as reliable indicators of academic quality, and it’s based on the researched view of what matters in education.

“In every community across New York State, SUNY colleges and universities offer students top quality degree programs and applied learning opportunities that prepare them for success in today’s 21st-century global economy,” said SUNY Chancellor Nancy Zimpher. “Congratulations to each of the SUNY campuses making the list for 2015.”
