The school year has concluded, which can only mean one thing. Graduation season is here and it’s time to recognize the tens of thousands of SUNY graduates that are moving on to the next phases in their lives and careers. Whether our students are transferring to another school to continue their education or finding work with the next big impact company, the fact that you all are joining more than three million other alumni from The State University of New York is a proud accomplishment. The knowledge and education received during your time at SUNY is needed throughout New York and beyond to help educate, care for, and support people from coast to coast and around the world in every sector of the economy.
The commencement festivities have already started and will continue on throughout New York State through the early part of June. While we celebrate, Chancellor Nancy Zimpher and all of SUNY would like to offer congratulations and best of luck to all of our graduates. We are all very proud of you. Now go get ’em!
