Applying for Financial Aid? Get Help Through the Process at Financial Aid Days

An investment in higher education is a major life decision to nearly all students. Going to college is a decision that blends the importance of what you wish to study along with how to afford and pay for it. For the majority of students enrolled at America’s colleges and universities, financial aid is critically important. What is FAFSA? How do I apply? Am I eligible for grants and scholarships? This month, SUNY is helping students understand the process of financial aid in its entirety with 35 events across New York State. They’re called Financial Aid Days, and they are available to all students. If you are applying for financial aid for college, let SUNY help at any of these upcoming Financial Aid Days.

From our established SUNY SmartTrack program, which provides financial literacy and guidance to students and families, to programs like Re-Enroll To Complete, which helps students who left school get back to a solid path to a degree and career advancement, SUNY’s efforts at providing a college experience that is affordable, accessible, and beneficial to all continue to grow. These Financial Aid Days take things outside the immediate enrollment path and provide information and resources to all students who are college-bound.

You can find all the locations and Financial Aid Days event details at our website. The programs are designed to answer questions and provide assistance regarding the financial aid application, types of aid available, and the award process. These events are free and open to all prospective college students and their families. You do not need to have applied to the campus host college to attend its Financial Aid Day. Simply select the location that works best for you!
