  1. Where are you from?
I come from a long line of Knights whose heritage can be traced back to the 14th century spreading throughout England, France, Spain and Germany. Currently I live on a horse farm in Geneseo, New York.
  2. How many teams do you represent?
I command 20 legions of the finest and most powerful warriors in the SUNY Athletic Conference.
  3. How were you chosen to be school mascot?
As any good knight will tell you, I had to prove my bravery and prowess by outwitting a Blue Devil, sinking a Laker, caging a Bear and a Bengal, bringing a Cardinal, Eagle and Hawk down to earth, and finally slaying 2 Red Dragons!
  4. Do you have any friends that are mascots?
As you can see from my previous answer, my response would be generally no.  It can be lonely at the top, but I’ll let you in on a secret, I’ve got my eye on that little Morrisville Mustang.  There is just something about a Knight and a good horse!
  5. What is your favorite campus event?
To kick off the fall season we host a Friday Knight 5K Run. Even though as a mascot I have the summer off, this tin man has heart!  I line up toe to toe with hundreds of athletes and alumni, and when the starter fires the gun, I’m off the line like a silver bullet.  You haven’t run a 5K until you have run it in a suit of armor. Earplugs advised.
  6. What do you consider the ideal fan?
The ideal fan should live up to the characteristics found in a “Knights Code.” They should display just the right amount of honor, pride, and courage, while leaving no doubt that they are just as chivalrous as the mighty players who represent the Blue and White which stands for loyalty and precision.
  7. What’s it like to be a mascot?
I definitely stand out on campus so it takes a lot of self-confidence to be unique and different. The darn paparazzi also follow me everywhere hounding me for pictures. But hey, who am I kidding I secretly dig the camera!
  8. What do you like to do for fun?
At one time, jousting was my favorite activity, but it’s so hard to find another knight with a horse and a lance, so I have taken up dancing. You should see me twerk!
  9. What is your favorite Broadway play?
There is one that is right up my alley. Spamalot. It has brave King Arthur, his loyal knights and plenty of adventure. I have been a loyal mascot for many many years, and even though I am getting up there in age, “I’m not dead yet!”
  10. What is your favorite New York State destination?
I have to say being right here in Geneseo, NY is pretty special.  We have Letchworth State Park which is called the “Grand Canyon of the East”, our main street is a national historic district with many cute shops, and I love to eat at the historic Big Tree Inn.  I always ask to sit at the “roundtable”.
When I really get the itch to travel, I love visiting the Statue of Liberty. We have a lot in common – tall, majestic, made of metal. She really turns me on!
