- Where are you from?
I was born in Bangladesh, but was orphaned into a traveling circus. I was adopted by an American family on Dec. 1, 1969.
- What do you do to get pumped up before a game?
Prior to a game, I actually try to achieve a state of zen, by meditating and listening to Enya. Then once I hear the roar of the crowd, all the energy I have harnessed is released and it is glorious!
- What is your favorite snack?
Definitely Red Dragon burgers.
- Who is your biggest SUNY rival?
Our buddies from the Battle by the Lake – Fredonia. Their mascot is a devil!
- How to you stay in shape?
Windsor Pilates mostly. I also do a juice cleanse starting on the third Wednesday of every month.
- What do you do in your spare time?
I love getting around in the city of Buffalo. The new Canalside district downtown is booming all summer and winter long. I skated on the canal and went curling with some friends, and in the summer I love to rent the kayaks and go up and down the Buffalo River. For a romantic night in the summer time, I also like to go across the street from campus for Shakespeare in the Park (the ladies love it!).
- What is your favorite TV show?
The Bachelor – I have applied to be on several times. It seems to be a sure-fire way to find your soul mate!
- What’s the greatest aspect of being a Mascot?
Going to the games! I love watching our teams win and celebrating with the crowd.
- Name a place that you would like to travel to.
Detroit, MI because 8-Mile is my favorite movie.
- What’s the best part about being from New York?
I love the four seasons! I’m a winter sports enthusiast, so I love the winter, but I also love to get a farmer’s tan on the links during the summer months. I also enjoy a nice long bus ride in the fall to take in the fall foliage.
