The SUNY Model European Union (SUNYMEU) is an annual simulation of the European Union organized by the Institute for European Union Studies at SUNY (IEUSS), the host campus (SUNY New Paltz), and the SUNY Office of Global Affairs.
The primary purpose of SUNYMEU is to provide a framework for a simulation of a European Council meeting to better educate American students about one of the most complex and important actors in the international arena today in the European Union, while giving them an opportunity to interact with students from EU member and candidate states.
For the month of March, Edinburgh Napier University is honoring the world-renowned photographer, alumnus David Eustace, with an international photography competition titled “Highland Heart”.
Eustace attended Edinburgh Napier University at the age of 28 and received his 3-year Bachelor of Arts degree. A month shy of graduation, he was already working for GQ magazine, having 4 covers by the end of that year. His client list has since then expanded to Vogue, Telegraph, and Panasonic just to name a few. Although largely associated with portraiture, his works also include fashion, documentary, and landscape.
