Fall season has arrived! One of the best parts about autumn is the beautiful scenery and backdrop that the foliage provides for all of New York’s 64 SUNY campuses. Given the dispersion of all sites throughout New York, each experiences a different “intensity” of foliage throughout the fall months (look for yourself here!). And at the same time, it’s important that we nurture and protect the beautiful greenery that the environment provides us with.
SUNY’s mission–to serve New Yorkers–positions the nearly half-million students to do just that: truly value the state’s natural resources. And if you’re looking to get out this weekend, you can hike some of the Adirondack Park’s 2,000 miles of trails or find an excursion that best fits you through an interactive guide to over 100 multi-use trails in New York State!
In order to best motivate us to get out there (or just appreciate it), we put together some of the best shots of autumn foliage from around the Empire State in order to bask in the breathtaking beauty of New York!
