The Niagara County Community College Culinary Institute student club has over the past years devoted their time to many community service events. Recently, under the leadership of Admissions Advisor Sabrina Faso and Instructor Chef Nathan Koscielski, the students at the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute’s Culinary Club prepared hundreds of homemade dog treats and distributed them to some furry friends at the Niagara SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals). This is one of several volunteer activities the club plans to participate in this year.
SPCA is an international non-profit organization that is dedicated to stopping the abuse and suffering of animals. The Niagara County branch is more than 100 years old, having been incorporated on March 14th, 1894, making it one of the oldest continually operating agencies on the Niagara Frontier. The goal of the Niagara SPCA is to provide love, care, shelter and advocacy for companion animals in the local community.
