The 2015 Princeton Review list of Best Colleges is out, and SUNY schools are once again well represented. Students at 379 top colleges were asked to rate their schools on dozens of topics and report on their campus experiences over the last year. The survey asks students 80 questions about their school’s academics, administration, student body, and culture. The results are then compiled to generate a broad range of campus feedback from those who are right in the middle of the environment. 6 SUNY schools have made the 2015 list of Best Colleges, as seen below.
Along with the 379 top colleges, 11 SUNY schools were placed among the Best Regional Colleges (Northeast) this year. The regional college ratings are a measure of 646 colleges in four regions of the country considered academically outstanding. In compiling the regional lists, the Princeton Review aims to “present a mix of colleges… : large and small, public and private, men’s and women’s colleges, historically black colleges and universities, science and technology-focused institutions and nontraditional colleges.”
These recognitions are a testament to the efforts consistently being carried out for more access and affordability at all of the SUNY schools.
