Although it stands as the largest comprehensive university system in the United States, SUNY’s talented student population does not end at New York’s borders. Students from across the United States and across the world come to SUNY every year to partake in the world class education, research, and job training opportunities present at each of the 64 campuses. The end result turns into one of the most diverse learning communities in the world.
How far does this reach extend? In data collected during the fall of 2013, there were more than 22,000 students from more than 150 countries outside the United States. And where did they come from? Check out the interactive global map to see how many students at SUNY represent the many countries around the world.
The large number of international students present on SUNY campuses provide a true international learning environment with many cultures and nationalities blending together to teach, learn, and develop together.
And access is still continuing to expand. With the new Open SUNY class and degree offerings, students who cannot physically attend a SUNY campus for one reason or another can instead work towards a degree completely online. Here you can find access to hundreds of degree programs throughout the SUNY System available online.
So no matter where you come from, opportunity is awaiting you in New York State. Start your journey here.
