The “Adopt a Family” program is celebrating its 11th year at SUNY Orange! Since 2003, students, faculty and staff at SUNY Orange have been adopting less-fortunate families by providing gifts and grocery money for the holiday season. Since 2003, the College has adopted a combined total of over 643 families, or 2,272 individuals!
This year, the program adopted 48 families, a total of 220 individuals, with contributions from SUNY Orange employees and fourteen student clubs.
The gifts and groceries were distributed to local schools and organizations, including Safe Homes of Orange County, Presidential Park Elementary School, Truman Moon School and Horizons on the Hudson.
