Spring is in the air, and with that we know that college graduation is rapidly approaching. Students from all across the nation are finishing up their last round of papers, projects and of course, finals. It’s time for all of the hard work put towards accomplishing the goal of attaining a degree to finally be recognized. It’s time to go to the bookstore and pick up your cap and gown and store it away for the big day. You are on your way to joining the more than 3 million SUNY graduates around the globe in becoming a part of the Power of SUNY.
Graduating is a big deal, and we want to help our students celebrate their achievements. In honor of all the graduating classes at SUNY this year, we are introducing the hash tag #SUNYGrad that graduates can use when posting pictures and video during their commencements. So don’t be afraid to show your SUNY pride by adding that special hash tag when posting about graduation on Twitter, and especially Instagram. We will be pulling some of the best photos and videos under the hash tag to be featured various media projects, from the suny.edu website to videos and social media highlights of the 2015 graduating class. So put your best foot (and smile) forward. We’re celebrating with you.
