Each Holiday season the Niagara County Community College Student Life office and Student Senate team up to raise money for St. Jude’s Research Hospital by collecting loose coin change creatively. Both groups compete on teams to raise the most money to donate to the hospital. The fundraiser typically starts right before the Thanksgiving Break and goes until the last day of classes. All student clubs and organizations are welcome to participate in this charitable competition, as it has become a Student Life tradition for the past 4 years.
Students raise anywhere from $200 to $500 in change each year for this cause. Last year the groups raised $250 and hopes to surpass that this coming year.
