Hello, everyone! My name is Jenna Colozza, and I am a new social media intern in the SUNY Office of New Media. I’m a senior (!) at SUNY Geneseo studying English literature and pursuing minors in communication and women’s studies.
Throughout the past year, I have delved into the world of publishing, working as a marketing intern at SUNY Press, a digital publishing assistant in Milne Library Publishing at Geneseo, and the Public Relations Manager for Gandy Dancer, a SUNY-wide literary journal. I hope to continue working in the field of publishing after graduating in May 2017.
At Geneseo, I’m also a member of Alpha Phi Omega, a national co-ed service fraternity, which has instilled in me an understanding of the value of service. I love seeing individuals come together to build something for the community. I’m also interested in art, music, the environment, and education and academics, and I can’t wait to explore those things and more on the Big Ideas blog.
As you can see, SUNY has provided me with valuable experiences and endless opportunities for growth, especially through Geneseo. I hope that throughout this summer working with the team at System Administration, I can provide something valuable for SUNY, too!
