Earlier this week, Governor Andrew M. Cuomo announced more than $755 million in economic and community funding that was awarded through Round VII of the Regional Economic Development Council initiative. The Regional Councils were established in 2011 to help jumpstart the economy and create jobs and to foster community-based and performance-driven economic development.
