It comes standard every year – the anticipation of college ranking lists that mean so much to students, families, and communities who seek a valuable measure of the schools that provide a higher education to people all across the country. The 2022-2023 U.S. News Best Colleges ranking is now available to help.
This year’s ranking lists reviewed 1,500 U.S. bachelor’s degree-granting institutions on 17 measures of academic quality, an all-time high for the publication. Schools were assessed through key characteristics in their majors, campus life, costs of attending, and more. In the methodology, only academic data from the publication’s surveys and reliable third-party sources are used to calculate each ranking factor. That means no nonacademic elements like social life and athletics.
In the 2022-23 edition, there are a large number of SUNY schools present on a large number of ranking categories. Some are national, some are regional, but all showcase the excellent characteristics that make a SUNY education a top choice for anyone seeking a college degree.
