The GI Bill: This bill was created to assist veterans in finding education. Transitioning from the Military to school can be difficult, but SUNY has decided to make it easy. Not only does this bill help provide education, but also creates a life plan after a veteran’s service. The GI Bill gives veterans an opportunity to choose what school is right for them, and what benefits will provide them with the most support. Other programs related to this bill include the Post-9/11 GI-Bill, and the Montgomery GI Bill. All of these programs help veterans achieve success after service.
