SUNY Purchase student crowdfunds 3D printer
SUNY Purchase College — When Purchase College student Shai Schechter was in the market for an affordable 3D printer, he was dumbfounded; the existing printers were too expensive to purchase and maintain. So, with a grant from the college and with a New York entrepreneurial spirit in hand, he founded a business and is in the process of raising nearly a quarter-million dollars on KickStarter to fund Deltaprintr.
