Morrisville State College Dietetic Technicians volunteered to help a local farm with a weekly harvest of yellow beans and potatoes. During their visit, students learned about community-supported agriculture (CSA), farmers markets, nutrient content of soil and what it is involved in getting the produce to market. The Dietetic Technician program at Morrisville focuses on the role of human nutrition in health and disease as well as the application of nutrition principles in wellness, fitness, and total health.
