Hi everyone! My name is Kasaydia Carter-Martinez and I’m a graduate student at the University at Albany. I’m studying in the Communications program, focusing on intercultural and interpersonal communications. I chose to attend the University at Albany after completing my bachelor’s degree at SUNY Plattsburgh in 2016.
During my time at Plattsburgh, I studied television/video production and created an anti-bullying and suicide prevention campaign. This campaign brought together over 60 organizations on Plattsburgh’s campus and also received multimedia attention. After my time at school is complete, I hope to continue on to become a professor and find ways to implement smart media that can make a difference in social issues around the world.
I’m excited to be here at SUNY and have the opportunity to take my passion for video and make some great content to show how great it is here! Currently I am working on a video for the SUNY SAVR and have a ton of ideas for more videos for students, parents, and even staff!
