FIT is hosting the 2nd Annual Fashion and Finance Forum featuring Nobel Prize-winning economists Joseph Stiglitz and Paul Krugman. Stiglitz and Krugman will focus on the concepts of crisis and repair as seen through the lenses of inequality and fiscal balance.
The forum will be moderated by Robert Johnson, executive director of the Institute for New Economic Thinking.
The event will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at 7:00 at the Morris W. and Fannie B. Haft Auditorium, FIT – 7th Avenue at 27th Street in New York City.
Tickets are $50 ($15 for FIT alumni) and include hardcover copies of the books The Price of Inequality by Joseph Stiglitz and End This Depression Now by Paul Krugman. A limited number of $25 tickets are available for the talk only.
