Two SUNY schools are set to battle for an opportunity to play for the NCAA Division III National Championship tonight at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee in Lewiston, Maine. The two New York Schools will be facing off against two teams from Wisconsin in an inter-state battle as SUNY Geneseo meets St. Norbert University and SUNY Oswego goes up against UW-Stevens Point. Both SUNY teams’ seasons are already being hailed as major successes to this point. The possibility of an all SUNY National Championship game would be the icing on the cake.

The team defeated SUNY Plattsburgh on the road on consecutive weekends, including a 2-1 win to advance to the SUNYAC finals where they were able to withstand a come from behind rally by the Geneseo Knights to capture the SUNAC Tournament championship.
