As COVID-19 restrictions tighten, SUNY Brockport again hosted a socially distanced “Brockport’s Big Trucks” event to offer the community some free family fun. On Saturday, December 5, from 3 to 5 p.m., an array of trucks and service vehicles—from school buses to snow plows to fire trucks—were on display in Lot T (adjacent to the Tuttle Athletic Complex) on the SUNY Brockport campus.
Visitors were asked to remain in their vehicles and drive through the display, ensuring social distancing for all involved. Visitors were also encouraged to display a “thank you essential workers” sign in their vehicles to demonstrate support and to donate non-perishable food items to Foodlink to help those in need this holiday season.
SUNY Brockport partnered with the Village of Brockport, the Town of Sweden, and others in the community to make this event possible.
