It’s back for a fourth year. The annual Mascot Madness tournament helps us find out who New York’s favorite college mascot is. In addition to the competition, this fun tournament helps us see how much SUNY school love and pride is out there among our students, alumni, staff, and community friends.
39 mascots from across New York State are in the running to win the coveted title, including some first time participants. All mascots have been randomly placed into 4 SUNY regions and ranked by the number of athletic teams each mascot represents, which determines which mascots are competing against each other in each round. So, can Baxter Bearcat from Binghamton University find a way to defend his back-to-back championships, or will we see a new winner this year? Only YOU, the students, alumni, fans, and friends of SUNY, can decide.
